DAY 3 (MTD ANNUAL 21 DAYS FAST)
TEXT: “He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye” (Deut 32:10)
- PRAYER: “Father, thank you because your Word has the power to transform. As I read today’s Morning Tea Devotional, let your Word penetrate my heart and mind, transforming my life into a better one, in Jesus name – Amen.”
In every spiritual engagement there are returns. Seeking the face of God in the place of prayer and fasting yields tremendous rewards. So, what is in this prayer and fasting for me?
Today we are examining prayer and fasting as a platform for accessing divine guidance. Divine guidance is locating God’s ways out of every issue of concern.
Divine guidance is one of the greatest assets in the Kingdom. However, it is prayer and fasting that facilitates our access to it, and it is the mystery behind profitable service in the kingdom (Isaiah 58:6 & 11).
Jesus set an example for us in fasting and He was continually guided by God, the Father. Abraham also excelled by divine guidance. Moses was addicted to fasting. According to scriptures, he fasted forty days three good times and he was constantly guided by God.
Apostle Paul was given to fasting as a lifestyle and he triumphed by divine guidance (2Cor 6:5). These are pointers that divine guidance is the secret to all round breakthrough in life and destiny.
One wrong step can wreck a whole destiny. “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” (Prov 14:12). Seek the face of God for His guidance this year.
Pls note that until you are born again, you cannot be led by God. Say this prayer in faith: “Lord Jesus, come into my life. I accept You as my Lord and Personal Saviour. I believe in my heart that you died and rose from the dead to save me. Thank You Lord for saving me, in Jesus name – Amen.”

TODAY’S PRAYER GUIDELINES:
- Father, baptise every MTDian with the spirit of obedience this year, in Jesus name (John 2:5).
- Father, empower every MTDian with grace for tireless service resulting into enviable rewards, in Jesus name (1Cor 15:10, Luke 22:28-29).
- Father, let your Word via MTD continue to circulate in all nations of the earth, in Jesus name (Acts 19:20)
- Present your requests to God now (Phil 4:6).
DAILY DECLARATION: “This year, 2025, I step into my New Era of Dominion by the Wisdom of God and I commit to serving God faithfully by the help of the Holy Spirit. As a result, my Rewards shall manifest quickly. Amen and amen.”
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: “Divine guidance is all about locating God’s ways out of every issue of concern to you.”
