OCTOBER PROPHETIC FOCUS:
(Divine Visibility – Genesis 8:5)
Wednesday, 14th October 2026
By Pst Israel Olorunfemi
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all” (1John 1:5)
SUPPORTING SCRIPTURE:
“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life” (John 8:12)
A rechargeable lamp can only give light as long as its battery has power. Once disconnected from its source of power, it will eventually go off. In the same way, our visibility in life depends on our connection to God, the Source of Light.
Beloved, it is not enough to desire to be seen; you must remain connected to the One who will make you visible. God is the One who gives direction, reveals opportunities, and brings hidden potential into the open. When you walk closely with Him, you receive the light needed to make the right decisions and fulfil your purpose.
We stay connected to God through:
- Fervent prayer.
- Diligent study of the Word
- Unreserved obedience to His instructions.
Beloved, don’t seek God only when you need a breakthrough. Your connection with Him must be daily and genuine. A person who disconnects from the Source of light risks walking in darkness, but the one who remains connected to God, the Source of light enjoys the light of life.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
Grace to maintain a robust relationship with God is coming upon you today, in Jesus name.
