OCTOBER PROPHETIC FOCUS:
(Divine Visibility – Genesis 8:5)
Thursday, 15th October 2026
By Pst Israel Olorunfemi
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear” (Isaiah 59:1-2)
Let me start by saying that having electricity does not guarantee that the light will remain on. Someone can choose to switch it off. In the same way, God wants His light to shine through our lives, but a lifestyle of sin and iniquity can hinder that light from shining. Beloved, my message to you today is, if you want to remain visible and relevant in life, be careful not to live in a way that turns off the light God has placed in you.
A lifestyle of sin and iniquity hinders our fellowship with God and it can abort the fulfilment of His purpose in our lives. Just as darkness takes over when light is turned off, sin can prevent our lives from reflecting the glory of God.
Samson for instance, was given an extraordinary strength for a divine assignment, but he repeatedly compromised his consecration. Eventually, his strength departed, and he did not even know that the Lord had left him (Judges 16:20). Pls, don’t allow the pleasure of sin to destroy your connection with God.
So, if you desire to shine from this Month of Divine Visibility, keep your heart right with God. If you have fallen, do not remain there; repent and return to Him, for He is faithful and just to forgive (1John 1:9). Guard your relationship with God jealously. Don’t let sin turn off the light that powers your visibility!
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
The light of God in your will shine brighter and brighter, in Jesus name.
