ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested” (1Chro 4:10)
Beloved, if you don’t want that story in your life to continue, why are you watching it taking root instead of taking it to God in prayer? Jabez refused to accept sorrow as the final chapter of his life. He knew what he desired to change, and he cried unto God for intervention. What was the result? God granted him his request!
What is that situation you don’t want in your life? What painful story are you tired of telling? What is making people question the God you serve? Don’t just wish things were different; take it to God in prayer like Jabez did!
The Jehovah God who answered Jabez and turned his story around is still alive. If you can cry unto Him with the same desperation and faith as Jabez, you too shall return with your answers. Your story will change for the better, in Jesus name.
