TEXT: “A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent” (Pro 28:20).
I welcome you to another beautiful day. I perceived strongly in my spirit that many among us in the MTD Family shall be lifted by favour this month, in Jesus name.
In continuation on factors that attract favour, I will like us to examine one very important one today which is:
- TRUSTWORTHINESS: If you will flow in favour both with God and men, you must be trustworthy. Yes, the level at which you will be favoured in life is determined by the level at which God can trust you. It doesn’t cost God anything to take you to the top by favour but the question is, can He trust you? Will you not deny him when you get to the top? Some will remain in labour-level of life as long as God knows they will serve Him in that state. God knows if He blesses you today you will deny Him and oppress others with your blessing, so He withholds it until you’re matured for it.
To be trustworthy is to be dependable. It is to make your Yes yes and your No no. Don’t live a double life beloved, it doesn’t pay. Don’t be a chameleon with God and men. Be reliable. Can your business partners go to sleep knowing that you will not dupe them of their money? If God will surround you with favour then refuse to back-stab other people in order to gain favour. This kind of attitude can never take you to the top in life.
Do you know why God favoured Joseph in Egypt? He was trustworthy and his master entrusted everything he had into his hand. “And he left all that he had in Joseph’s hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured” (Gen 39:6).
Be trustworthy and you will be decorated with favour!
PRAYER: You will not lose your place in destiny, in Jesus name.
DAILY CONFESSION:
This year 2024, I am advancing in adversity because I’ve been redeemed to flourish in hard times therefore my life shall be full of wonders. Amen and amen.
