DAY 10 (MTD ANNUAL 21 DAYS FAST)
TEXT: “And there was there with us a young man, a Hebrew, and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret” (Gen 41:12)
Today’s anchor scripture is about the story of Joseph who was known for his gift of interpretation of dreams despite what he faced from his own brothers that conspired and sold him and the false accusation from his master’s wife. Beloved child of God, you need to be known for something positive this year 2024 irrespective of what is happening in and around you. You can’t pursue vision and not known. Go to God to locate His vision that you will run with this year. A man who is pursuing vision will be distinguished.
Don’t run your life on somebody else lane. Life is a race and we must run it individually according to God’s prescription. The Bible says: “Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain” (1Cor 9:24). There is no two you my brother, my sister. Be known for your uniqueness.
Perhaps you are still hiding or shying away due to the fear of uncertainty, it is time you come out of your hiding and give all it takes to fulfil that God-given vision/assignment for your life. That’s why this fasting season must not end without clearly know what you must do to benefit God’s kingdom and humanity this year. For instance, I clearly defined my vision from God before signing up to use any social media platforms. This is what gave birth to different online platforms and the prominent among them is MORNING TEA DEVOTIONAL which started going to 11 years now. Be known for your assignment.
However, what is in this prayer and fasting?
POWER
Prayer and fasting initiates us into the realm of power. It is impossible to operate in the realm of power without prayer and fasting as a lifestyle. Everyone who has ever operated in the realm of power subscribed to the demands of prayer and fasting. Even Christ had no identity until He returned from a forty-day prayer and fasting exercise. David, in desperate need for power, said: O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land…to see thy power… (Ps 63:2-3). We cannot experience supernatural power without a thirsty soul and a longing flesh which is prayer and fasting.
PRAYER: May you encounter this power today, in Jesus name.
DAILY CONFESSION:
This year 2024, I am advancing in adversity because I’ve been redeemed to flourish in hard times therefore my life shall be full of wonders. Amen and amen.
DAY 10 PRAYER GUIDELINES:
- Father, by the Holy Ghost, empower my prayer life afresh, so I can continue to overcome all temptations on my path this year 2024 (Matt. 26:41)
- Father, by the Holy Ghost, empower my prayer and fasting life into next levels, so I can continue to grow in power and command higher levels of spiritual authority (Ezek 47:1-5).
- Father, I ask for the release of your power on my life to make progress this year, in Jesus name (Acts 10:38)
- Father, empower your word via Morning Tea Devotional for next level impact, in Jesus name (Acts 19:20)
- Ask God for other things (Phil 4:6).
