TEXT: “Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations. And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me; That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel” (Luke 22:28-30)
- DAILY PRAYER: “Father, thank you for the transformative power of Your Word. Let your Word via today’s Morning Tea Devotional transform my life and destiny, in Jesus name. Amen.”
To serve God acceptably and receive His rewards, we must cultivate the quality of continuity. Perseverance is key; it’s not about starting strong, but finishing well. The Bible says, “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved” (Matt 24:12-13). This scripture reveals the importance of perseverance in our service to God.
Remember, your commitment to serving God is what determines your rewards this year, our year of Rewards. So, don’t lose focus like Lot’s wife (Luke 17:32). She was on the verge of escaping the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah but looked back, and became a pillar of salt (Gen 19:26). Beloved, stay committed and focused on your kingdom assignment, your service will be richly rewarded, in Jesus name.
Continuity requires determination. Apostle Paul said, “I press toward the mark…” (Phil 3:14). Press on, if you will reach your goals and receive your prizes. Determination is what sets apart those who receive rewards from those who don’t. May you be among those who’ll receive bountiful rewards this year, in Jesus name.
PROPHETIC PRAYER: My God will enlarge your coast and bless you abundantly this year, in Jesus name.
