Let me begin by saying that serving God exposes us to the blessings of God. It has the capacity to transform anyone from the bottom to the top, regardless of the challenges or difficulties they may be facing. Beloved, when you serve God, you’re not just fulfilling a spiritual obligation and you’re not wasting your time and resources; you’re investing in your future.
Serving God is not a mere religious activity either, but a pathway to enthronement. It’s a way to experience the Power and Presence of God in your life, and to enjoy the blessings and favour that come with serving Him.
So, what are the profits of serving God? Let’s explore one today.
- SERVING GOD GUARANTEES DISTINCTION. You cannot serve God and be like others who are not. The Bible says, “And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not” (Mal 3:17-18).
Serving God makes God take personal interest in your affairs. When God takes personal interest in your affairs, your life will enjoy distinction. The blessing of God distinguishes, and this blessing is available in stewardship. If you desire the blessing of God, then be willing to serve.
However, you must serve with the right mentality. Don’t serve God with the mindset that you are doing Him a favour, or that serving Him is a punishment. Serve God because you recognize that there is a profit in serving Him. When you serve God, there is an edge of protection and favour around you.
This edge of protection and favour is what sets you apart from others. It’s what makes you distinct and unique, even in the midst of challenges and difficulties.
PROPHETIC PRAYER: As you continue to serve God, He shall distinguish you for blessing, in Jesus name.
