TURNING PRAYER POINTS INTO THANKSGIVING POINTS

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1Thess 5:18)

SUPPORTING SCRIPTURE:
“For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise” (Heb 10:36)

Now that our 21 days of prayer and fasting are over, the question is: what do we do next to lay hold of our answers?

First, you must understand that prayer does not end with asking; it must continue with thanksgiving before angels deliver the answers. After praying, one of the strongest signs of faith is gratitude. Thanking God after praying is a demonstration of your trust that He has heard you.

Jesus demonstrated this when He gave thanks for the five loaves and two fishes before they multiplied (Read John 6:11). Nothing had changed physically, yet He thanked God confidently and loudly. That thanksgiving brought about supernatural multiplication.

Beloved, every time you thank God for what you have prayed for, you are expressing your confidence in Him. Gratitude keeps your heart calm as God works behind the scenes. Complaining weakens faith, but thanksgiving keeps it strong.

Now, take your prayer list and begin to thank God item by item. Do it daily from today. Let gratitude replace anxiety.

PROPHETIC PRAYER:
I see your answers pouring down like rain, in Jesus name.
