ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear” (Isaiah 65:24)
PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Father, speak to me directly through today’s Morning Tea Devotional, in Jesus name – Amen.“
We give all glory to God for the success of yesterday’s Covenant Day Of Mercy. The impact of it shall live with you for life, in the name of Jesus Christ.
From Scripture, we understand that there is a company of people who receive answers from God even before they call. They receive answers before even praying. The Shunammite woman in the days of Elisha belonged to this company. Will you like to join this company today?
This woman had a problem money could not solve, she had no child. She may have tried everything, even prayed, yet nothing changed until she did something that provoked her answer. You want to know what she did? Read on!
Prophet Elisha often passed through Shunem. One day, the woman proposed to her husband that they prepare a room for the man of God. She expanded her house and furnished it so he could dwell there comfortably whenever he comes. By making room for the prophet, the reproach of her life ended. Hear me; the end of your reproach has come, in Jesus name!
There is always a man or woman sent by God to you, one who labours for you in prayers and in the Word. When was the last time you prayed for them? When was the last time you appreciated them with your resources? When was the last time you said, “Thank you, servant of God”?
Do not ignore the one anointed by God to feed you spiritually. God often chooses to bless us through them. Honour them with best gifts, and God will honour you in return. This is one of God’s ordained principles. Take advantage of it this year.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
I see answers pouring down like rain in our midst this year, in Jesus name.
