21-DAY PRAYER & FASTING (DAY 11)
(Check the prayer guidelines below)
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before” (Job 42:10)
PERSIONAL PRAYER:
“Father, instruct and guide me today through the Morning Tea Devotional, in Jesus name – Amen.”
Another secret to profitable prayer and fasting is looking beyond self. Fasting becomes more meaningful when we use the opportunity to stand in the gap for others. Praying for people’s needs is a way of inviting God to step into our own situations.
That was the case with Job in today’s anchor scripture. Even though he was hurting and still waiting for answers, God asked him to pray for his friends. The moment he did, God turned his story around and blessed him with twice of what he had before. Did you see that? His double restoration was connected to his willingness to intercede for his friends.
Also, when Peter was locked up in prison, the church did not fold their arms; they prayed earnestly for him, and God responded with a supernatural release of Peter (Acts 12:5-17).
Hear me, God takes our needs seriously when we take the needs of others seriously. So, in the remaining days of this fast, don’t limit your prayer to personal needs alone. Take time to pray for others too, those close to you and even those you may not know personally. As you lift others before God, trust Him to lift you too.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
Your acts of intercession this season will open doors for your own turnaround testimonies like Job, in Jesus name.

- Thank God for answered prayers so far (Ps 100:4)
- Pray that God will cause His glorious voice to be heard through MTD this year (Isaiah 30:21 & 30)
- Pray that God will meet the need of every MTDian this season (Phil 4:19)
- Pray for God to heal those who are sick right now (Act 10:38)
DAILY DECLARATION:
“This year 2026, strange doors are opening for me, bringing me into my next-level breakthrough and establishing me to reign as a king, in Jesus name – Amen.“

“Praying for people’s needs is a way of inviting God to step into your own situation.”
