DIVINE VISITATION FOR PRESERVATION

(MTD 12th Anniversary)

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit.” (Job 10:12)

PERSONAL PRAYER:
Father, thank You for another day. Let Your Word today bring light, strength, and preservation into every part of my life, in Jesus name – Amen.

Let me start by saying that one of the most comforting words in Scripture is that divine visitation brings not only blessing but also preservation. The story of Job is a deep reminder of this as mentioned in today’s anchor scripture. Despite all he lost; his family, wealth, and health, Job acknowledged that it was God’s visitation that preserved his spirit. In other words, what kept Job from breaking down completely wasn’t his own strength, it was God’s Presence with him.

What is preservation? It means to be kept from destruction, decay, harm, or failure. That is, to be sustained through what should have crushed you. While Job’s body was afflicted and his world fell apart, something within him remained untouched. That something was his spirit, preserved by God.

Beloved, what God keeps us from sometimes, is greater than what He gives us. The fact that you’re still standing today after all you’ve been through is proof that God has visited you, even if it didn’t feel like it at the time. As we step into the second half of 2025, I speak this over your life and everyone connected to Morning Tea Devotional: “The Lord shall visit you for preservation. When others are sinking, you will stand. What crushed others will not crush you. God will be your hiding place, in the name of Jesus Christ.”

Even when you don’t have all the answers or when your situation hasn’t yet changed, don’t forget this that God’s visitation preserves. In the name of Jesus, you will not lose your place. You will not break under pressure. You will not be swallowed by battles.

PROPHETIC PRAYER:
God will preserve you from sudden attacks, from evil arrows, and from hidden dangers. Like Job, your spirit will remain strong, and your life will be a testimony of God’s visitation, in Jesus name.
