ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as He had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bear Abraham a son in his old age..” (Gen 21:1-2 Paraphrased)
PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Father, thank you for the power in Your Word that transforms. Let Your Word in today’s Morning Tea Devotional transform my life and destiny, in Jesus name – Amen.”
One of the most powerful things that can happen in a person’s life is divine visitation, especially when it breaks the yoke of delay. Delay can be painful, frustrating, and confusing. It makes you wonder if God’s promise will ever come to pass. But the story of Sarah in today’s anchor scripture reminds us that when God visits, delay is terminated and destiny is delivered.
Sarah waited for 25 years after the promise was given. Everything about her situation was saying “It’s too late.” She was 90 years old. Nature had closed her womb. People had written her off. But God did not forget her. When the time was right, He visited her, and what was impossible became reality.
Today’s anchor scripture says: “The Lord visited Sarah as He had said…” That means God is faithful. He does not forget what He promised, no matter how long it seems to take. He visits to perform His Word, and when He does, it births celebration.
Are you in a waiting season? Has time passed and it seems like the promise has expired? Let Sarah’s story encourage you this morning. Delay is not denial. Divine visitation in a man’s life always redeems his time, and release his manifestation. That’s what happen to Sarah.
In this July, the Lord will visit you! Your delay shall be terminated. Every prophecy hanging over your head shall find fulfillment. The same God who visited Sarah and broke 25 years of delay will visit your home, your destiny, and your situation, in Jesus name.
Your season of laughter has come. Like Sarah, you shall laugh again, and those who doubted you will testify that the Lord has done great things for you.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
Your time has come. Your delay is over. Your visitation is now, in Jesus name.
