TEXT: “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost” (Rom 14:17)
- PRAYER: “Father, thank you because your Word has the power to transform. As I read today’s Morning Tea Devotional, let your Word penetrate my heart and mind, transforming my life into a better one, in Jesus name – Amen.”
Another key to experiencing laughter I want us to examine today is Peace. Jesus said: “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
Anxiety, apprehension, restlessness, worries are all enemies of laughter. Even in peaceful surroundings, you can still feel restless if your perspective to your situation is wrong. Today’s anchor scripture says: The kingdom of God is righteousness, AND PEACE , and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Beloved, staying peaceful in chaotic situations always results to laughter. That is why God is saying to you today to: “Be still and know that I am God…” (Ps 46:10).
The devil steals peace and joy through anxiety. Without peace, you cannot experience joy and without joy, laughter is impossible. Dear child of God, choose peace today, even if life’s storm is ragging. Let God handle your problems. Trust Him and be at peace.
Jesus said: “My peace I give to you…” (John 14:27). This peace can’t be bought with money. You can only find it in Him. You cannot find peace in any other way. He said, “In Me you will have peace” (John 16:33). You cannot experience true peace until you are saved. You can’t be at peace in turbulent situations without salvation. Making the decision to surrender your life to Jesus today will be the best decision you ever make.
