ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: “But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty” (Matt 13:23)
- DAILY PRAYER: “Father, thank you for the transformative power of Your Word. Let your Word through the Morning Tea Devotional today transform my life and destiny, in Jesus name – Amen.”
Let me start by saying that the Word of God is the foundation of genuine fruitfulness. The Word of God is the seed that when planted in our hearts and nurtured produces fruits in our lives. To bear fruit therfore, we must be committed to the studying of the Word, meditating on it, and applying it to our lives.
Just as a man cannot become pregnant, no one can be fruitful without being a doer of God’s Word. It’s impossible to bear fruit without being connected to the Word – Jesus Christ. Jesus, who’s the Word said: “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me” (John 15:4).
The amount of God’s Word in you determines the amount of fruit you bear in life. The more you study, meditate, and apply the Word of God to yourself, the more fruitful you become. The revelation of the Word of God in you commands revolution in your life. When you receive revelation from the Word, it has the power to transform your life and make you fruitful in all your endeavours.
Another thing I want you to note in today’s anchor scripture is that those who received the Word were fruitful, but their individual fruitfulness depended on their level of understanding. Some bore fruit a hundredfold, some sixty, and some thirty. The difference was not in the seed, but in the soil. The seed is the Word, and the soil represents our hearts. So, when we understand the Word and apply it to our lives, we will surely bear fruit.
The apostles recognized the importance of studying and applying the Word, and made it their top priority, which is why they were fruitful (Acts 6:4). If you can follow their example, your fruitfulness will manifest also.
Remember, the Word of God is the seed that produces fruit in our lives. Sow it, nurture it, and you will flourish in all areas of your life.
PROPHETIC PRAYER: Your fruitfulness shall manifest openly this season, in Jesus name.
