ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing” (John 15:5)
- DAILY PRAYER: “Father, thank you for the transformative power of Your Word. Let your Word through the Morning Tea Devotional today transform my life and destiny, in Jesus name – Amen.”
Congratulations to all who participated in our Covenant Day of Mercy live program yesterday. Watch it: God has drenched your life with rain of blessings. They will begin to manifest in your life, in Jesus name.
Now, let me say that there is only one source of guaranteed fruitfulness in life, and that is God. Just as a branch cannot bear fruits when detached from the main tree, so also a person cannot bear genuine fruits when detached from God.
It is alarming to see how people rely on money, connections, education, magical power, political power and other things and expect to be fruitful in what they do. The truth is, these will fail you if they are your hope.
The Bible says: “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. They are brought down and falling: but we are risen, and stand upright” (Ps 20:7-8).
Beloved, be aware that the only source that cannot fail is when your hope is in God. Don’t get connected to what will disconnect you from Him. Avoid seeking demonic power that will cripple your destiny. Seeking demonic power or prioritizing intellectual knowledge over spiritual growth will limit you in life and lead to destruction – don’t allow that to happen. The world should look for solutions from the Church, not the other way round.
Jesus said: “Without me, you can do nothing” (John 15:5b). Irrespective of your connections, education or political power, there’s no guarantee for your fruitfulness without God.
PROPHETIC PRAYER: I pray that your life be a manifestation of God’s glory as you stay connected to Him, in Jesus name.
