TEXT: “He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God” (Rom 4:20)
Today is MTD Hour of Mercy from 12pm -1pm (Your Country’s time). It is a time we always ride on the wind of God’s mercy by asking God what we need. However, in today’s Hour of Mercy, we shall be thanking God for what He did for us from January till date and for the yet-to-manifest testimonies that will definitely come before the year is over.
The yet-to-manifest testimonies can be provoked via thanksgiving. The leper that returned with thanksgiving received his wholeness. “And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole” (Lk 17:17-19).
Appreciation is an application for more. When you thank God for what He did He will do more. Thanksgiving is acknowledging God behind every good thing in your life. Nothing good ever happened without God. Your skill, your connection, your charisma, your promotion, etc., is a direct act of God in your life. You need to acknowledge that and give Him the glory that due Him this season.
Thanksgiving also is appreciating God for anticipated blessing. You need to thank God for miracles yet unseen. In today’s anchor scripture, Abraham was glorifying God for the yet-to-be-born Isaac. Abraham received Isaac after twenty-five years of waiting. It doesn’t matter how long you have waited for your own Isaac, like Abraham, thanksgiving can enforce its delivery.
Thank Him in advance and your life will advance. Are your dreams, visions and aspirations for the year 2023 seem unaccomplishable? Thank Him because it will still be accomplished. What He said He will do, He’s able to do it without anybody’s permission or approval.
ACTION STEP:
Use today’s Hour of Mercy to thank God. Don’t ask Him anything and you will see the manifestation of what you never asked for.
PRAYER: I decree the release of your hanging blessing now in Jesus name!
