TEXT: “Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him” (James 5:14-15).
Today is MTD Hour of Mercy. The Lord will be releasing His Power on us today to overcome all the assaults of the enemy. You will not miss your own portion, in Jesus name.
Now, let’s go!
One of the channels through which God transfers His Power to us is via anointing oil. Today’s anchor scripture says that anyone who is afflicted or sick, let him/her be anointed with oil and the power in the oil will free him/her from that affliction. A bottle of oil that is prayed on carries the Power of the Holy Ghost, and it is what it takes to be free from all forms of discomfort in life. The anointing oil is a medium through which the Power of God is invoked to intervene on our behalf.
Furthermore, the Spirit of God goes into manifestation when anointing oil is applied with understanding and faith. The anointing oil is God’s standard in our hand to put the enemy where he belongs. In Isaiah 59:19b, the Bible says that “…when the enemy shall come in like flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” So, the anointing oil in our hand is a mysterious weapon against all assaults of the devil in our life. The Power of God through the anointing oil is able to end all your frustrations in life. This week, this mystery will end all manipulations of the devil on your life and destiny
ACTION STEP:
