DAY 8 (MTD ANNUAL 21 DAYS FAST)
TEXT: “Then Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because the LORD hath anointed thee to be captain over his inheritance? Then shalt thou go on forward from thence, and thou shalt come to the plain of Tabor…” (1Sam 10:1&3)
Welcome to another week of encounters with God. As you seek Him on the altar of prayer and fasting this week, you shall find Him, in Jesus name.
Today as our custom, is MTD Hour of Mercy. This is an hour that God in His infinite mercy looks on us to turn issues of concern in our lives to testimonies. Your long-awaited testimony shall manifest today, in Jesus name.
As commanded by God, we shall be anointing ourselves today and this shall establish our advancement in 2024. It takes the Power of the Holy Spirit to advance in the midst of opposition and resistance. The Power of the Holy Spirit is required to make progress in spite of any adversity or adversary on our way.
But, one of the channels through which God transfers the Power we need to advance in life is via anointing oil. Today’s anchor scripture reveals when king Saul was anointed by Prophet Samuel and the transformation that happened in Saul’s life. One of the prophetic words released on Saul is “Then shall thou go on forward from thence…” A bottle of oil that is prayed on carries the Power of the Holy Ghost to break barriers and limitations. A man who is anointed cannot be hindered by the devil or his agents. King David was anointed with oil and the Bible says that the Spirit of God came upon him from that day and Saul could not stop the plan of God for him (1Sam 16).
I want you to know this morning that the Spirit of God always goes into action when anointing oil is applied with understanding and faith. The anointing oil is God’s standard and weapon in our hand, to put the enemy where he belongs and to cause us to advance supernaturally. It is written: “…when the enemy (opposition, adversary, adversity, etc.) shall come in like flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him” (Isaiah 59:19b – Paraphrased). The anointing oil in your hand is a mysterious weapon that can destroy obstacles.
Therefore, I want you to get your bottle of oil ready today. That devil of limitation that doesn’t want your life to move shall be removed, in Jesus name. With your bottle of oil, call our number between 2pm – 3pm (GMT +1). The power of God shall be invoked into that bottle of oil and you shall be in command from then on!

DAILY CONFESSION:
This year 2024, I am advancing in adversity because I’ve been redeemed to flourish in hard times therefore my life shall be full of wonders. Amen and amen.
