TEXT: “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake,…and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed” (Acts 16:25-26)

I welcome you and every lover of Morning Tea Devotional to our week of open doors. God shall cause doors to open for you this week, in Jesus name. The Lord said, great and effectual doors shall open to us this week. Open doors in this context means: “Ways out of every unpleasant situation in our lives.”

Are you going through some situations in life? Have you been kept in bondage by Satan? Are you really trusting God for a way out of that challenge or you find yourself in a fixed that the way out is not in view? If yes, then this week is your week.

Today’s anchor scripture says that at midnight Paul and Silas Prayed and praised God. Midnight speaks of that moment in life when you feel abandoned, rejected and left alone. That was the case with Paul and Silas. They did not complain or murmur rather, they prayed and sang to God, not silently but loudly. I’m sure other prisoners would have laughed at them. Suddenly, there was a great earthquake, and the prison shook to its foundation. All the doors flung open, and their chains fell off – Hallelujah! God Himself stepped in.

Praise has the capacity to open any prison door. It carries in it the power to break any chain of Satan.

ACTION STEP:
Have you prayed and nothing seems to be happening? In today’s Hour of Mercy (12pm-1pm) engage praise even if you don’t feel like it. Any time you praise God in spite of your situation, God Himself comes for your rescue. Praise brings God down for your intervention. Your testimony of open doors, ways out of that situation shall manifest this week, in Jesus name.

PRAYER: Congratulations is your portion this week, in Jesus name.

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2023, I am finally on a Covenant Highway, Jesus is giving me Answers and I am enjoying Rest Round About – Amen and Amen!

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: “Praise has the capacity to open any prison door.”
