“The Wonders of Grace” (2Cor 9:8)

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Eph 2:8-9)
PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Father, let your Word be a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path today, in Jesus name – Amen.“
Salvation is one of the greatest wonders of the grace of God. Today’s anchor scripture makes it clear that salvation is not what anyone can earn by good works or religious effort. It is a free gift of God, through His Son, Jesus Christ.
The wonder of saving grace therefore, is that God did not wait for us to be perfect before saving us. While we were still lost in sin, He made a way for us through the Cross. The Bible says: “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Rom 5:8)
This means, no one is too far gone in sin to be saved. So, beloved, no matter your past, God’s grace can reach you, forgive you, and give you a new life today if only you will call on Him.
The wonder of saving grace changes identity completely, sinners becoming saints, and the lost becoming saved, not by works of righteousness but all by grace alone.
The question now is, have you accepted this free gift of salvation, or are you still trying to earn it? God is not asking you to qualify yourself, He is inviting you to believe and receive it. Remember, salvation is not a reward for good works but a gift of grace freely given through Jesus Christ.
Today, open your heart and accept this gift, and let His grace transform your life.
Pray the simple prayer below:
“Lord Jesus, I come to You just as I am. I am sorry for my sins. I believe You died and rose again for me. Forgive me and come into my heart. Be my Lord and Saviour. From today, I belong to You. Thank You for saving me, in Jesus name – Amen.”
