ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all” (Acts 4:33)
PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Heavenly Father, thank you for your Word. Open my eyes to see what you have for me in today’s MTD, in Jesus name – Amen.“
From the pages of Scripture, it is clear that every child of God carries a destiny of greatness. This is because we are connected to a great God (Psalm 48:1). Being in Christ automatically positions you for a life that reflects greatness.
However, true and lasting greatness is not achieved by human effort alone, it is birthed and sustained by grace. The foundation of every greatness, especially for a believer, is the grace of God at work in a person’s life. Many struggle today because they rely solely on their abilities instead of depending on divine grace. Grace empowers you to rise above limitations and excel beyond natural capacity. When grace speaks for you, opposition cannot stop you, and circumstances cannot hinder your progress.
The Bible records that: “Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord” (Gen 6:8). That grace distinguished him and made him a vessel for preservation in his generation. This shows that greatness is not accidental, it is the result of the grace of God at work. Every truly great life, both in Scripture and in our world today, is traceable to the operation of grace. This month, your greatness will find full expression, in Jesus name.
Very importantly is the fact that grace is a person and that person is Jesus Christ. The Bible says: “For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ” (John 1:17). With the coming of Jesus, grace was made fully available to humanity. Therefore, the moment you receive Him into your life, you step into a realm where greatness becomes your reality through grace.
If you haven’t received Jesus into your life yet, you can do that today. There is greatness in you waiting to be revealed through Him.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
This month of May shall mark the beginning of your rising into greater glory in Jesus name.
