TEXT: “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land” (Isaiah 1:19)
Before you start today’s MTD, repeat this prayer after me: “Father, I acknowledge that Your Word holds the power to transform lives. As I read today’s MTD, I ask that it transform my life and shape my destiny. By the Power in your Word, above only shall be my experience all through this month and onwards, in Jesus name – Amen.”
We have established that obedience to divine instructions is a pillar that guarantees our above only experience. Verse 1 of Deut 28 says: “If you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God…, the Lord will set you above all nations of the earth.” Obedience to divine instructions makes you indestructible on the earth. Not just obedience, but timely and complete obedience is required to live on top in life.
What is obedience? Obedience is “Doing the ridiculous to access the miraculous.” Divine instructions are often ridiculous and do not make sense. In John chapter 2, Jesus gave the servants a ridiculous and senseless instruction – He said, fill the jars with water, fetch and give the governor of the occasion. That doesn’t make sense right? But the end result was a miracle. Divine instructions may sound ridiculous but it is the birthplace of the miraculous.
I would like to add that our obedience extends not only to God but also to men/women with higher spiritual authority. While God is our ultimate Leader, He has ordained spiritual leaders to guide us, as we don’t always have the capacity to hear Him directly (Heb 13:7). Therefore, it is our responsibility to obey our spiritual leaders, recognizing that their instructions are an extension of God’s guidance for us.
However, one of the profits of obedience is: “Supernatural Supplies” (Read 1Kings 17:8-16, 2Kings 4:1-7). Beloved, where your obedience stops, that is where your supplies stop. Supernatural supplies lie in your obedience to divine instructions. Study the two quoted scriptures above for a better understanding.
PRAYER: I declare supernatural provision and abundance over your life in the remaining days of this month and onwards, in the name of Jesus!
