DAY 2 (MTD ANNUAL 21 DAYS FAST)
TEXT: “And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be” (Gen 15:5)
There is a force that has the capacity to bring success out of any failure. It can bring victory in the midst of battles and empowers one to forge ahead against all limitations. It is called “The force of vision.” It makes the unseen more real than the seen. In the history of man, progress has always been made by men or women who have seen things that were not yet here.
Vision is a mental picture of your destiny. In today’s anchor scripture, God brought Abram out to open field where he could see the uncountable stars to make him paint a picture of himself as a father of multitudes. At this point, Abraham had no child by Sarah yet. Vision is a foundation of courage and you need courage to move ahead in spite of discouragement. The word of God to Joshua was: “Be strong and of a good courage: for unto these people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land…” (Joshua 1:6). Receive courage to face this year with absolute faith, in Jesus name.
However, what is in this prayer and fasting?
ANSWERS TO PRAYERS.
Prayer and fasting facilitates answers to prayers. We can only maximize the blessedness of fasting by effectual prayers. As we engage productively in this ongoing fast, answers to our prayers are guaranteed. The Bible says: “Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am” (Isaiah 58:9).
PRAYER: There shall be harvest of answered prayers for you this year, in Jesus name.
DAILY CONFESSION:
This year 2024, I am advancing in adversity because I’ve been redeemed to flourish in hard times therefore my life shall be full of wonders. Amen and amen.
DAY 2 PRAYER GUIDELINES:
- Father, I pull down every altar of wickedness erected against my life and destiny this year, in Jesus name.
- Oh Lord open doors of opportunity to me before this prayer and fasting program is over, in Jesus name.
- Lord Jesus, give me the right key to open the right door at the right time this year, in Jesus name.
- Father, pilot the affairs of Morning Tea Devotional this year 2024 for maximum impact, in Jesus name.
- Ask God for other things.
