TEXT: “There are three things that will endure—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.” (1Cor 13:13)
As we draw the curtain on the subject of Restoration today, I want to emphasise again that for you to be restored totally and completely, your love for God must be intact. Job understood this secret and his doublefold restoration was confirmed. It was his love for God that moved him to pray for his three friends irrespective of their Holier-Than-Thou attitudes towards him. Love cannot fail. If it is impossible for God to fail then it is impossible for love to fail. Do you know why? God is love. Your restoration will answer to your love for God any day any time.
Here are two benefits of love among others:
- LOVE MAKES YOU FEARLESS
Fear is what makes a prey of believers. Job fell victim of his fear (Read Job 3). The Bible says that fear had torment. When you give in to fear, it opens the door for the devil to torment you, and robs you of your restoration. “And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage” (Heb 2:15). But when your love for God is intact, fear is eradicated. Fearlessness is the platform for restoration. - LOVE GUARANTEES INSTANT
ANSWERS TO PRAYERS. Job’s desire was granted the moment he demonstrated the love of God for his friends. Everyone who loves God enjoys answers to prayers. So, love is the commandment that qualifies you for supernatural restoration of all the devil stole from you.
This is where we’re ending the subject of Restoration. Tomorrow Saturday is Weekend Review.
To you that kept us online with your moral and financial support, I say the Lord bless you and increase you a thousand times and more, in Jesus name
