TEXT: “But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel” (Psalms 22:3)
Dear child of God, you are too precious to God that He will not allow you to be molested by the forces of darkness and do nothing. If you are born again, you are an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ (Rom 8:17). God won’t watch you sighing under satanic manipulations without His intervention! All He wants is for you to create an atmosphere for Him to take over. Praise is that atmosphere that guarantees God’s abiding Presence.
Do you want to see God’s intervention concerning that situation you’re currently going through? Praise Him. Do you want to see Him demonstrate His almightiness in your affair? Praise is the trigger. It is good to pray but, the power of prayer cannot be compared to the power in praise. The reason is that, when you pray, God sends His angels (Dan 10, Acts 12), but when you praise Him, He comes down Himself (Acts 16:25-30).
Today’s anchor scripture says that: “God inhabits the praises of his people.” God doesn’t inhabit complaints, frustration or worry. He doesn’t inhabit “Why is this taking so long?” But when God hears you talking about His greatness, praising Him when you could be complaining, declaring His promises when you’re facing giants, thanking Him that He’s working in your life when nothing is changing in your life, that is when God says, “Let me step in. Let me fight that battle. Let me make a way. Let me bring promotion, healing, favour.”
One version renders today’s anchor scripture as: “God is enthroned when we praise him.” The meaning is that when you’re full of praise, you’re building a throne for God to sit on. When you go through the day grateful with a smile on your face and being good to people, that is not just having a positive attitude; you are inviting God into your life and into your situation. Come on! Rise up and give Him the praise that due Him.
PRAYER: I declare that as you praise God today and always, your life shall become a wonder to behold, in Jesus name!
TODAY’S TASK:
Give God at least 30mins praise today. Choose a time that will be convenient for you to praise God uninterrupted. Wonders shall be your new experience this month, in Jesus name.
DAILY CONFESSION:
This year 2024, I am advancing in adversity because I’ve been redeemed to flourish in hard times therefore my life shall be full of wonders. Amen and amen.
