(MTD 14-DAY PRAYER & FASTING – DAY 2)
TEXT: “Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am…” (Isaiah 58:9)
I welcome you again to our month of Outstanding Testimonies! What is a testimony? A testimony is the physical manifestation of God’s promises in our lives. What promises has God spoken over your life this year? Hold on to them, even if circumstances around you are telling you they will not come to pass. God is faithful. His promises shall turn into practical testimonies in your life this month, in Jesus name.
However, to experience the fulfillment of God’s promises and prophecies, there are essential steps to take. By taking these steps, you can position yourself to receive the fulfillment of God’s promises and experience the reality of His word in your life.
These steps include:
- HAVE FAITH IN GOD’S ABILITY
Remember the woman with the issue of blood who believed that just a touch of Jesus’ cloak would bring her healing (Mark 5:28)? Similarly, refuse to let your circumstances dictate your faith this month. Trust in God’s power to turn things around, and like this woman, you will receive your testimony!
What is in this 14-day prayer and fasting for us? Prayer and fasting is a divine instruction designed to enable us profit in all our endeavours in life. It is the meeting point between God and man. Regular engagement in fasting facilitates answers to prayers. This means, we shall be enjoying answers to prayers this month! The Bible says: “Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am…” (Isaiah 58:9).
DAY 2 PRAYER GUIDELINES
- Father, as I engage in this prayer and fasting, every bondage around my life is shattered in Jesus name.
- Father, as I commit myself to this prayer and fasting, every issue of concern in my life, home, career and business shall turn into testimony in Jesus name.
- Pray for any other personal needs.
