TEXT: “And it shall turn to you for a testimony” (Luke 21:13)
I welcome you to the month of July, the anniversary month of Morning Tea Devotional and the beginning of the second half of the year. This month shall be a reference point in your life, in Jesus name. The grace of God that sustains Morning Tea Devotional for 11 years now, shall sustain you in all your endeavours, in Jesus name.
Second half of the year begins with the seventh month. Number seven in scripture is a symbol of Rest, Completion, Perfection, Freedom, etc. My heartfelt prayer is that every genuine lover of Morning Tea Devotional shall experience these blessings in abundance this month, in the mighty name of Jesus.
What is God saying to us in the Morning Tea Devotional Family this month of July? It is scripturally proven that every great destiny always attracts great opposition from the kingdom of darkness. King Herod sought to eliminate baby Jesus because He was perceived as a threat to Herod’s throne, due to the prophecies and rumors of a new King of the Jews being born. Moses’ life was spared supernaturally when the decree went that all male children born to the Hebrews should be killed. Great destinies will always be met with fierce opposition from the forces of darkness.
Beloved, I want to remind you that your destiny in Christ is a great one! But, be aware that fulfilling this destiny comes with spiritual battles. The good news is that prayer and fasting are proven strategies for achieving victory in these battles. There is a limit to how far you can go regarding your life’s purpose and destiny achievement without prayer and fasting. Opposition on your to fulfilling purpose bows at the command of prayer and fasting. Nehemiah, a slave, became a Governor when prayer and fasting paved way for him in rebuilding the fallen wall of Jerusalem.
The truth is that every genuine engager in prayer and fasting always has outstanding testimonies to share.
In view of the above, the month of July, 2024, in the Morning Tea Devotional Family, is our month of: “OUTSTANDING TESTIMONY” (Lk 21:13). Every issue of concern in your life shall turnto practical testimony this season, in Jesus name.
