TEXT: “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you” (John 15:7)

I believe the reason why we pray is so we can receive answers. The beauty of any prayer is determined by the result that comes with it. If you are yet to see answers to your prayers, ensure you follow through the step by step teaching that shall be coming via MTD this month. We don’t have to stay sick, broke or defeated in life, we only need to know how to receive answers when we pray.

So, for you to receive answers to prayers this month and onwards:

(1) LOCATE RELEVANT SCRIPTURES
A lot of people pray but lack facts/evidences about the issues they are dealing with in prayer. The Bible says: “Produce your cause, saith the Lord; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob” (Isaiah 41:21). If your prayer lacks scriptural facts, it becomes an exercise in futility. In today’s anchor scripture, Jesus says: “If my word abides in you, only then shall you receive answers to what you ask.” The word “If” implies that answer to our prayer is conditional. Jesus said that you can ask anything and it will be done so long His word on that issue abides in you.

David located five smooth stones to bring down Goliath. Those smooth stones represent the word of God today. You may not necessarily get five scriptures; just locate two or three scriptures that guarantee your answers, digest them and take them to God in prayer. Don’t stand in prayer without relevant scriptures that guarantee your answers! This is one of the effective way to pray.

PRAYER: Every desire you take to God in prayer this month shall return with answers, in Jesus name.

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2023, I am finally on a Covenant Highway, Jesus is giving me Answers and I am enjoying Rest Round About – Amen and Amen!

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: “If your prayer lacks scriptural facts, it becomes an exercise in futility.”
