SECRETS TO POWER – Pt 4

TEXT: “And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them” (Acts 4:23)

Glory to God for the privilege of knowing some secrets to His Power as revealed to us by His Spirit! Jesus said: “You have been given the privilege of knowing the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to those outside, I speak in parables” (Mark 4:11).

What is another secret God wants us to know today?

From the anchor scripture above, the Spirit of God is showing us that keeping the right association unleashes the Power of God in our lives. Despite the opposition that the disciples faced, their connection with God and each other led to a greater outpouring of His Power. The Bible says: “And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all” (Acts 4:33). I pray that you will experience this divine enablement as you surround yourself with the right people, in Jesus name.

If you will experience the release of Power in your life, you must keep the right company. The company you keep determines what accompanies you in life. Who are your close friends? Your friends determines who you really are or who you will eventually become. The Bible says: “He that walks with the wise shall be wise..” (Pro 12:20). When situations of life threaten you, who do you go to? Where do you go to when you need help? Who do you share your problems with? Peter and John returned to their fellow apostles.

Be careful who you share your dreams with, dear beloved, as it will determine the power that is released for its success or failure. Seeking power from the wrong sources, like native doctors, to fulfil your dream will only lead to disappointment. And searching for ways outside of God’s will will only lead to frustration. Instead, share your dreams with those who will lift them up in prayer, like the apostles did, and watch God’s power manifest in your life.

In conclusion, remember that “you are as good or bad as the company you keep.” Don’t let the people you surround yourself with hold you back. Friendship is a choice, not by force. Be wise and choose wisely, because the company you keep can either lift you up or drag you down. Surround yourself with people who will uplift and support you, and remember that it is not a bad idea to distance yourself from those who hinder your growth. You are free right now, in Jesus name.

PRAYER: Your victory over the devil and his manipulations is established today, in Jesus name. As you go out today, you are preserved, protected and you shall return with your testimony, in Jesus name.
