ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it” (Isaiah 1:19-20)
PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Thank you Father for today’s MTD. Minister to my heart and strengthen my walk with you, in Jesus name – Amen.“
As we gradually bring the prophetic focus of the month to a close, we must understand also that one thing that can make heaven close over a person is disobedience. That is, disobedience to God and to parents, both spiritual and biological.
God leads us by giving instructions and by placing people in our lives to guide us. But when we choose not to listen to Him or reject correction from those He has placed over us, we begin to block the blessings He has ordained for us.
This was what happened to Saul. God gave him clear instructions, but he decided to do things his own way. Because of that, he lost his throne. In the same way, Adam lived in close fellowship with God, yet one act of disobedience broke that fellowship.
Beloved, are you living in disobedience to God and His instructions? Are there things He has told you to stop, start, or change that you are still ignoring? If yes, it is time to make a turn.
Disobedience may look small, but it quietly moves a person away from God. When we resist instruction, we lose direction. But when we embrace obedience to instructions, we remain close to God and keep enjoying open-heaven dimensions of blessings.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
The heart that is willing to obey God and the grace to respond quickly to His instructions is yours today and always, in Jesus name.
