OPENING PRAYER: “Father, I recognize that your Word has the power to transform. As I read today’s Morning Tea Devotional, I ask that it penetrate my heart and mind, transforming my life and shaping my destiny, in Jesus name – Amen.”
I welcome you to October, 2024. I believe God has kept you well and His favour has made your life profitable, especially in the month of October. The encounters you had shall be permanent, in Jesus name – Amen.
What is God saying to us in the Morning Tea Devotional Family this month? The Bible says: “He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’S, and he hath set the world upon them” (1Sam 2:8). Beloved, God is in the business of lifting people supernaturally.
Are you feeling down or low in various areas of life? The good news is that God is going to lift you this month. However, you must hold onto your joy, because it is in your rejoicing that you will be lifted. The Bible says: “Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted” (James 1:9).
Remember, your current situation cannot intimidate God. He can transform anyone’s life, just as He did with:
- Mordecai, the gatekeeper, who became a royal advisor.
- Joseph, the prisoner, who became a Prime Minister of the then known world.
- David, the shepherd boy, who became a king.
If God could lift them up, no devil can stop Him from lifting you up this month!
Don’t think that your current situations are the end of the road. God has a surprise waiting for you, and it’s coming sooner than you think!
In view of this, the month of October 2024, in the Morning Tea Devotional Family, is our month of: “DIVINE LIFTING” (1Sam 2:8/James 1:9).
To be lifted means to move upwards, from a lower position to a higher one. It is to increase in condition, wealth, health and quality of life. It is not just taking one step forward, it is taking many steps forward. This shall be your experience this month, in Jesus name.
My prayer is that the Word of God will ignite your spirit this month and manifest your divine lifting in all areas of life, in Jesus name.
