TEXT: “And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before” (Job 42:10)

I welcome you to the 3rd weekend of MTD Global Intercession!

Engaging in prayer for others is one of the keys to manifesting our laughter this season and always. There are several places in the Bible where we are instructed to pray for others. Let’s look at at least two examples in the New Testament:

  1. 1Timothy 2:1-2: “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”
  2. James 5:16: “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”

Praying for others reflects God’s character of love and mercy. God wants us to think like He does, and praying for others helps us to think beyond ourselves and to grow in compassion for others.

As you engage faithfully in praying for these MTDians today, I see God releasing your victory oriented laughter, in Jesus name.

TODAY’S INTERCESSORY GUIDELINES:
(Spend minimum 3mins on each request).

  1. I have applied somewhere for a job, I want God to favour me, in Jesus name.
  2. Pray that God should establish peace between my daughter and her son, in Jesus name.
  3. Pray that God should heal my body of sickness and that my second daughter will find a husband, in Jesus name.
  4. Pray that God will bless my business and empower me more to help others from it’s profits.
  5. Pray that evil wishes of satanic personalities against me be disappointed, in Jesus name.
  6. Pray that God would favour me with a good accommodation before the end of the year, in Jesus name.
  7. Pray for Pst Israel and Pst Janefrancess Olorunfemi for grace to tireless pursue MTD mandate, in Jesus name.
  8. Thank God for answer to our prayers, in Jesus name.

PROPHETIC PRAYER: As you commit yourself to praying for others today, your own needs shall be met supernaturally, in Jesus name.
