TEXT: “Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?” (Exod 15:11)
OPENING PRAYER: “Father, I recognize the transformative power of your Word. As I read today’s Morning Tea Devotional, I ask that your Word penetrate my heart and mind, transforming my life and shaping my destiny, in Jesus name – Amen.”
In today’s MTD Covenant Day of Mercy, God is set to put an end to every age-long battle in our lives saith the Holy Spirit.
Are you experiencing battles that seem overwhelming? Are you confused on what to do because of their complexity? No breakthrough despite your efforts, and it feels like you’ve reached a dead end. I bring you good news this morning; the end of that battle is here.
The nation of Judah faced a similar predicament, besieged by three opposing nations and unsure of their next step (2Chron 20:12). Then, the Spirit of God spoke through a prophet, providing clear guidance. Beloved, God is set to bring an end to every struggle and provide you direction today.
“And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah…Thus saith the LORD…Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s. Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you…tomorrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you…And when he (Jehoshaphat) had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness…” (2Chro 20:15-17, 21).
Their triumphant victory was secured through praise. Praise is a potent spiritual tool that moves God to take control of our battles. When you’re faced with overwhelming challenges of life, all you need do is to transfer the burden to God through heartfelt praise. This act triggers His divine intervention. Praise is more than a feeling; it’s a deliberate action that stirs God into action on our behalf.
Have you tried your best and things are not working the way you anticipated? God is taking over the battle from you now! Whatever force that is arrayed against you shall be a walkover as you engage in high praise to God today! For God to do the unusual in your life, praise Him. In the midst of your praise, God will make you to ride upon your high places in Jesus name.
