TEXT: “And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God…And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong” (2Chro 26:5 & 15b).
Today is MTD Covenant Day of Mercy! Be prepared to encounter supernatural help from God that will establish you above only. It shall be your week of testimonies, in Jesus name!
Supernatural help is guaranteed as long as we remain connected to God. Help will surely come from Him anytime you need it when you are connected to Him. David says in Psalm 121:2, ‘Our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.’ The implication of this verse is that the ‘real help’ we need to get settled in life and destiny comes from God Himself. Every help we receive from man is as it is ordained by God. No man can help you except God compels him to. That’s why it’s important we look unto God for any help we desire here on earth.
However, there are forces that provoke the help of God. Let’s examine one today.
PRAYER
One of the forces that provoke God’s help is prayer. Hebrews 4:16 says, ‘Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.’ God’s invitation to come to Him for help is always open, but it’s up to us to take advantage of it and receive the help we need.
Further more, the secret of king Uzziah’s success was because “he sought (prayed to) God in the days of Zechariah… And God helped him against the Philistines, and against the Arabian that dwelt in Gurbaal, and the Mehunmis (2Chro 26:5,7). Prayer is getting God to intervene in any situation on the basis of His Word. Beloved, you need the help of God to overcome the enemy. What you do in prayer is to take your accuser to the courtroom of heaven for judgment. Once you are justified, God’s help is then released to you.
ACTION STEP:
