ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me” (Isaiah 6:8)
PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Father, as I read your Word today, open my heart to hear your voice clearly. Let this be more than information, let it become a divine invitation into purpose, in Jesus name – Amen.“
As we prepare to round up our teaching on Divine Visitation for a Change of Story, let me remind every MTDian that divine visitation is not just for our excitement or personal breakthroughs alone. It is deeper than that.
When God visits people, He is not only changing their story, He’s also entrusting them with a responsibility. Be aware that every encounter comes with a calling, every blessing comes with a burden, and every lifting carries an assignment.
From Abraham to Moses, Isaiah to Mary, and even Peter, their visitations came with clear instructions. These examples prove that divine visitation is always a preparation for vocation. God does not waste encounters. He doesn’t visit just to make your life easier. He visits to make you useful for His purpose. Every divine encounter carries within it a divine assignment.
So, beloved, as you celebrate this month’s visitation, whether it’s healing, favour, or divine direction, don’t lose sight of the assignment attached to it.
Like Paul, ask God: “What would you have me do?” (Acts 9:6).
I encourage you this morning to stay sensitive because the next instruction is coming, stay yielded, God is still shaping you, and stay obedient because it’s what connects your encounter to your impact.
You have been visited. Now arise and fulfill the reason for that visitation.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
I pray that your heart be sensitive to God’s voice, and grace be released upon you to fulfill your divine assignment, in Jesus name.
