TEXT: “Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear” (Isaiah 59:1-2)
May is our month of Uncommon Favour in the Morning Tea Devotional Family. I want to let you know that it does not cost God anything to decorate our life with favour if only we apply biblical principles. To attract uncommon favour this month and onwards, take note of this factor:
- REPENTANCE: You must have a repentant heart if you will attract the favour of God in your life. Nothing puts you in the right standing with God to enjoy His favour like repentance. David was a man after God’s own heart, not because David didn’t commit sin but because David had a repentant heart.
Today we have believers who defend their sins and call it different names. For instance, they call stealing as smartness. They modified fornication and adultery as dating and bribery as gratification, etc. We have other set of people who pretend not to know they are living in sin just to suit themselves. Or what will you say of a lady who is living with a guy she’s not married to? Is it called friendship or a defiled bed? And they are just living normal. Please, don’t normalise abnormalities if you will enjoy God’s favour.
What about those who live on alcohol and call it enjoyment or those who change figures in their offices and still come to pay tithes? Beloved, we live in a generation where sin is being modified. Hear me today, sin is sin no matter how you modify it. Call it what it is.
To enjoy ceaseless favour from God, you must repent of all your sinful acts. Pls, be different in your office, in your department, in your compound, in your community or in your family. What profit is it to gain the whole world and lose your soul in hell? Think about it!
PRAYER: You will not end your journey in hell, in Jesus name.
DAILY CONFESSION:
This year 2024, I am advancing in adversity because I’ve been redeemed to flourish in hard times therefore my life shall be full of wonders. Amen and amen.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: “Don’t normalise abnormalities.”
