ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: “And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives” (Acts 27:10)

  • PERSONAL PRAYER: “Father, thank you for the power in Your Word that transforms. May the Morning Tea Devotional today transform my life and destiny, in Jesus name – Amen.”

It is essential to point out the danger of not heeding God’s warnings, as many people are suffering today due to this factor.

In today’s anchor scripture, the people on the ship with Paul sailed despite his warning, which landed them in trouble. Beloved, don’t ever ignore God’s warnings, as it’s dangerous, and don’t ever proceed when God’s instruction is contrary, as it will endanger your life. You will not fall victim, in Jesus name.

The people in today’s scripture made three common mistakes that we usually make from time to time. One of these mistakes is FOLLOWING HUMAN’S ADVICE AT THE EXPENSE OF GOD’S INSTRUCTION. Verse 11 of today’s anchor scripture, which says: “Nevertheless, the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship more than what Paul had said.”

God had instructed them through Paul not to sail, but because the “expert” said it was okay, they embarked on the journey and lost everything. Many people are in trouble today due to this same mistake.

For instance, going into business transactions or partnerships without clear guidance from God can lead to financial losses or damaged relationships. Also, entering into marriages or relationships without seeking God’s approval can lead to sorrow, conflict, or even divorce. Taking jobs or career paths that are not aligned with God’s plan for our lives can result in unfulfillment or stagnation. Making major decisions, without praying and seeking God’s wisdom can lead to regret later. That won’t be you, in Jesus name.

The good news is that God’s mercy is available to restore anyone who has made these mistakes. However, it’s crucial to beware of experts in our world today and be careful who you listen to. While seeking counsel from humans is good, don’t prioritize human advice over God’s instructions, as it can bring storms into your life that will require God’s mercy to recover.

Do not proceed with the investment, even if it seems logical or promising. Instead, pray for guidance and wait for clearity before making any major decisions.

PROPHETIC PRAYER: Before this month ends, God will restore what you lost due to this factor by His mercy, in Jesus name.
