ANCHOR SCRIPTURE
“And Joshua made peace with them, and made a league with them, to let them live: and the princes of the congregation sware unto them. And it came to pass at the end of three days…that they heard that they were their neighbours, and that they dwelt among them” (Joshua 9:15-16 – Paraphrase)
SUPPORTING SCRIPTURE:
“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye” (Psalms 32:8)
PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Father, thank you for the power in Your Word that transforms. Let your Word transform me today, in Jesus name – Amen.“
We give God the glory for the success of yesterday’s MTD Covenant Day Of Mercy on Google Meet. Your overdue rewards shall manifest speedily, in Jesus name.
God desires to guide us in every area of our lives. But for this to happen, we must first learn to seek Him before making any major decisions. Many of the mistakes people make today can be traced to acting hastily without consulting God.
The Gibeonites in the above anchor scripture deceived the children of Israel because Joshua and the leaders of Israel failed to seek counsel from the Lord before making a covenant with them. What appeared right naturally turned out to be a long-term burden. Hear me beloved, not every opportunity is from God, and not every open door is God’s door. Don’t jump at every opportunity without divine approval. Seek His face in prayer for a go-ahead before accepting any offer.
When we seek God through prayer, His Word, and the leading of the Holy Spirit, He grants us clarity for the path ahead. God sees what we cannot see and knows what we do not know. Therefore, seek Him in prayer before making any decision because the safest place to be is in the center of His will.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
I pray that the Wisdom of God will guide your steps this month and onwards, in Jesus name.
