(MTD 14-DAY PRAYER & FASTING – DAY 6)
TEXT: “Out of them shall proceed thanksgiving the voice of them that make merry, I will multiply them they shall shall never be few, I will also glorify them they shall never be small” (Jer.30:19)
Today, we shall retun to God as a Devotional Family to express our profound appreciation to God, the author of Morning Tea Devotional mandate. Today, we are celebrating 11 years of God’s guidance, provision and global impact with a thankful heart in praise and in worship.
We want to thank and praise God because we understand that until we thank Him for the impact we have so far as a Devotional, we can’t have more. We also understand that it is only when we appreciate God that things begin to appreciate for us. When we thank Him for the five loaves of bread and two fishes, rather than saying “what is this among so many”, then God will give us capacity to feed the five thousand as we climb the ladder of 12.
Today, as a Devotional, we shall thank God for His finger for Him to multiply His grace upon us. While the disciples were complaining about the five loaves and two fishes (Their statement was: “What is this among so many?”), Jesus took it and gave thanks and it multiplied. The truth is that nothing dies in the hand of a thanksgiver. This is why we shall be thanking God for all He has done for us.
What is thanksgiving? Thanksgiving is appreciating God for small things in a big way.
What are we thanking God for?
- For sustaining MTD for 11 years now (Do that in your home, office, shop, etc., between 12pm – 12:30pm – GMT +1).
- For the impact of MTD since inception.
- For salvation of souls via MTD.
Blessings of today’s thanksgiving include:
- Increase of the blessings of God (Jer 30:19).
- Supernatural turnaround of life and destiny (Habk 3:17-19).
- The earth will yield her increase to us (Psalm 67:5-7).
- Greater and higher impact of MTD.
PROPHETIC PRAYER: As we thank God for His sustainable grace and for making MTD impactful, we shall see greater grace and more impact both as individuals and as a Devotional, in Jesus name.
