ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed” (Prov 13:20)
PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Father, as I read your Word today, strengthen my faith and stir my heart to praise you continually, in Jesus name – Amen.“
One of the secrets to sustaining the lifestyle of praise is keeping the right company. The company you keep will either keep you down or lift you up. If you continually associate with people who complain, live in depression, or dwell on the past, you will gradually begin to think, speak, and behave like them.
Praise flourishes in an atmosphere of faith and thanksgiving. Therefore, intentionally surround yourself with people who celebrate God’s goodness, speak words of faith, and encourage others to trust Him. Keeping the right company will help you sustain a lifestyle of praise and enjoy God’s abiding Presence.
Beloved MTDian, I admonish you to choose your relationships wisely. Keep company with people whose words inspire faith, gratitude, and praise. As you do, your heart will remain focused on God’s goodness, and praising Him will become your daily lifestyle rather than an occasional activity.
