ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries” (1Cor 14:2)
PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Father, stir in me a fresh hunger for your presence. Teach me to pray effectively and deepen my fellowship with you through the Holy Spirit, in Jesus name – Amen.“
I want to begin by saying that communication is one of the strengths of every healthy relationship. Our relationship with God is no exception. The more we commune with Him, the stronger our walk with Him becomes. While we can communicate with God in our own language, He has also given us a heavenly language, the language of the Holy Ghost.
When we pray in the Holy Ghost, we are not limited by our vocabulary, emotions, or understanding. Our spirit communes directly with God according to His perfect will. This is why praying in the Spirit is a gift everyone of us should desire. But, if you don’t pray in tongues, you should not let that stop you from joining us today. Come and pray with your understanding trusting the Holy Spirit to lead you into this glorious experience.
So, today’s Tongues of Fire is for everyone. Whether you are praying in the Spirit or believing God for this experience, join us with expectation. The Holy Spirit will meet every hungry heart.
