MAY PROPHETIC FOCUS:
“The Wonders of Grace” (2Cor 9:8)

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD” (Gen 6:7-8)
In the days of Noah, the world was full of corruption, violence, sin, and all sorts of atrocities you can think of. Yet in that same corrupt generation, Noah stood differently because the grace of God was upon him. And you know what? It was that grace that preserved and helped him accomplish the task of building the ark.
Noah had never seen rain before, yet God told him to prepare for the coming flood and he obeyed. Human strength alone could not have sustained such obedience, consistency, and faith. It was grace that made it happen.
In the same way, life places demands on us that our expertise or experience alone cannot handle. There are battles that human strength alone cannot win and there are tasks that only grace can help to accomplish.
Like Noah, we need grace to obey God when His instructions do not make sense naturally. We need grace to remain faithful in a corrupt world. We need grace to continue when people mock, misunderstand, or doubt us. Noah kept building even when others probably laughed at him because grace kept him focused on the task rather than people’s opinions.
Grace is divine help. It is God giving a man the ability to do what he could never achieve by himself.
Also, Noah did not survive the flood because he was the strongest man on earth. He survived because grace singled him out for preservation.
Many people today are trying to build their lives, families, and businesses based only on expertise and logic. No wonder they become exhausted, frustrated, and discouraged. Human strategies have limits, but grace supplies strength beyond human capacity. Beloved, you need this grace now and always.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
My prayer is that this grace will single you out this season, in Jesus name.
