ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place” (Acts 2:1)
- PERSONAL PRAYER: “Father, thank you for the power in Your Word that transforms. May the Morning Tea Devotional today transform my life and destiny, in Jesus name – Amen.”
A wise man said, “The secrets of great men are in their stories.” The secrets to genuine Power of God are in the stories of the apostles. I encourage you to study the Book of Acts this month. To experience the power of God, we have noted that we need to return to the Presence of God, to fellowship with God’s people, and we need to tarry enough until we are endued with power.
Our anchor scripture today says the disciples WERE IN ONE ACCORD IN ONE PLACE, which speaks of unity. Beloved, if you will experience genuine Power from God, you must embrace and promote unity in the Body of Christ. Don’t join the heathen to fight the Church. Apostle Paul said we should “Endeavour to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Eph 4:3).
Disunity is one of the reasons behind the lack of genuine Power in the Church today. All we have now is a religious jamboree. It’s time we dropped our individual views and denominationalism and be one. That you belong to a particular denomination doesn’t mean others in other denominations are unbelievers. We are one body in Christ. Let’s stop castigating one another. Let’s embrace ourselves as brothers and sisters, and the power of God will return.
Also, the Power of God came upon them because they were all in one place. Dear child of God, you must stay in One place appointed by God for you not to be displaced by the power of darkness.
PROPHETIC PRAYER: Every seed of division planted in our Churches today is rooted out, in Jesus name.
