TEXT: “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people” (Luke 2:10)
- PRAYER: “Father, thank you because your Word has the power to transform. As I read today’s Morning Tea Devotional, let your Word penetrate my heart and mind, transforming my life into a better one, in Jesus name – Amen.”
Compliments of the season to you and to all lovers of Morning Tea Devotional. Our message this morning is not to argue about the date in which Jesus Christ our Saviour was born. The date is not the focus of our message but the blessings His birth conveyed to humanity.
From the above scripture, the birth of Christ brings the following blessings:
- It brought good news. We’re living in times where bad news seems to dominate the headlines, and the fear of death and evil can be overwhelming. It’s easy to feel anxious and uncertain about the future. However, Jesus came to bring good tidings, to proclaim hope and salvation to a world in need – Hallelujah! His birth marks the conquest of light over darkness, love over hate, and hope over despair.
As we celebrate the birth of Jesus this season, I declare that you shall be a partaker of this joy! You will experience the peace that only Christ can bring. Spirit of fear and anxiety is leaving you now, in Jesus name. You are not alone. Jesus is with you, and He is for you.
- Jesus came to restore the glory that Adam lost. Before Adam sinned, he had no shame. The Bible says, “Adam and Eve were naked, but they were not ashamed” (Gen 2:25). This was God’s glory at work. Sin brought shame and guilt. But, the birth of Jesus changed everything.
Is there shame or guilt in your life right now? Maybe it’s from a past mistake or a current struggle. You’re free from it now. God’s glory is wiping away every shame, guilt, and condemnation in your life today, in Jesus name.
PROPHETIC PRAYER: These and more shall be your experience this season in Jesus name!
