(MTD 14-DAY PRAYER & FASTING – DAY 3)
TEXT: “For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole” (Mark 5:28)
God has ordained July 2024 as a month of outstanding testimonies for the Morning Tea Devotional Family. However, it is important to recognize that testimonies only emerge when we take the necessary steps to trigger them. To experience your outstanding testimonies this month, just like the woman with the issue of blood, you must trust in God’s ability, as we discussed yesterday. This woman’s unwavering belief in God’s ability sparked the manifestation of her testimony. It is your faith that will unlock your testimony this month too!
What other step did she take that we can learn from in her story?
- BE DESPERATE FOR CHANGE
The Bible says: “When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment” (Mk 5:27). Despite the throngs of people surrounding her, she remained focused on her goal. It was her desperation and faith that propelled her to press forward and she got what she wanted. Her concern was turned to testimony instantly.
Are you willing to go to any lengths to experience your testimonies this month? Just like the woman who desperately sought a miracle and got it, you too can have your turning point this month. Desperation is the willingness to take bold action for a desired transformation. What bold step are you willing to take to see your testimonies manifest this month? Meditate on this!
However, what is the purpose of this prayer and fasting? It is a divine tool to dismantle the roadblocks in our lives, and to equip us with the spiritual strength to overcome any obstacle. As you commit to this spiritual exercise, you will experience divine empowerment that will enable you to triumph over life’s challenges, both now and in the days ahead. In the name of Jesus, every barrier preventing your testimony from manifesting is utterly destroyed today!
DAY 3 PRAYER GUIDELINES:
- Father in the name of Jesus, let every barren area of my life be fruitful this month (Gen 1:28).
- Father, every barrier to my testimony this month be broken, in Jesus name (Joshua 6:20).
- Present to God any other request.
