TEXT: “Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come” (Ps 102:13)
I welcome you once again to the month of May 2024, our month of Uncommon Favour in the MTD Family. The Lord shall decorate you with favour this month and onwards, in Jesus name.
As I mentioned in our opening message yesterday, man is not destined by God to labour ‘all his life out’ to meet ‘all his life’s needs.’ God patterns our lives not only to labour but also to enjoy His favour. The anchor scripture for today and for the month makes us to understand that there is a time appointed by God for His people to enjoy favour. In the Morning Tea Devotional Family, the time appointed for our favour is this month of May. If you have to labour and labour before you achieve things in your life before now, it is time you cry out to God to decorate you with favour this month.
Pls, don’t misunderstand me. I’m not in any way undermining the place of labour in our day to day life. The Bible says there is profit in every labour (Prov 14:23). My point however is that labouring all life out to achieve everything tangible is not God’s pattern for His children. He has set times and seasons to display His favour upon His faithful children. Like I said yesterday, what takes a man who labours ten years to achieve, a man who carries favour will achieve it in one day. This is what I trust God for this month in the MTD Family.
Supernatural breakthrough is coming your way this month. Yes, it will come because it is a product of God’s favour and not man’s labour. Natural breakthrough answers to man’s labour but supernatural breakthrough answers to God’s favour. Supernatural breakthrough is beyond human calculations or explanation. It is a product of God’s favour, not this jumping from pillar to post of ours in a bid to make ends meet. This month of May, I see strange order of breakthrough happening in your life, in Jesus name. My counsel again is: “Be expectant, be vigilant, be diligent, be sensitive and above all, be ready because God is set to lift you by His favour.”
PRAYER: The Lord shall decorate your life with uncommon favour this month, in Jesus name.
DAILY CONFESSION:
This year 2024, I am advancing in adversity because I’ve been redeemed to flourish in hard times therefore my life shall be full of wonders. Amen and amen.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: “The highway to uncommon breakthroughs is favour.”
