TEXT: “And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti” (Esther 2:17)
From the word of God, we understand that God always blesses and protects the righteous with favour. The Bible says: “For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield” (Psalm 5:12). A shield is a weapon of war. This means, favour is a weapon of protection. God protects His own with His favour from all oppositions and devilish moves of men.
This is the kind of favour that was upon Daniel in Babylon. He and other Israelites were slaves in Babylon. But for reasons that cannot be naturally explained, Daniel had unusual favour. The Bible says: “Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love…” (Dan 1:9). The Lord shall bring you into favour with your destiny helpers this month, in Jesus name.
We also found in other accounts that Daniel had so much favour with the leaders of his days that he was elevated to prominent positions in the Babylonian kingdom. Even though the circumstances and people were against him, Daniel eventually became the prime minister of Babylon. Hear me, nothing can successfully work against a man who carries God’s favour. God protects and preserves His own with favour.
Also, when the favour of God is upon a man, he will be selected for a good position among many of his qualified counterperts. Esther in today’s anchor scripture was selected among several other beautiful ladies that were qualified to be the queen (Esther 2:15-17). She was picked despite the fact that she was a slave. My dear child of God, when favour is at work, your background is irrelevant. This same favour will find you this month in Jesus name. You shall be preserved, protected and distinguished by favour this month, in Jesus name. Be expectant!
PRAYER: The favour of God will single you out for lifting this month in Jesus name.

This year 2024, I am advancing in adversity because I’ve been redeemed to flourish in hard times therefore my life shall be full of wonders. Amen and amen.
