DAY 12 (MTD ANNUAL 21 DAYS FAST)
TEXT: “The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints” (Eph 1:18)
I want to start by saying that the devil is not interested in blinding your physical eyes, all he wants is to blind your mind. A blind mind is worst than a blind eye. My prayer this morning according to the above anchor scripture is that our mind will be enlightened this year, in Jesus name. When your mind is enlightened, it will generate hope in you and when you are hopeful you will enjoy God’s help.
This explains why some blind men in our world today are still touching their world positively; the reason is because the devil only blinds their eyes and not their mind. Beloved, don’t allow the devil to corrupt your mind with doubts and evil thoughts. All he wants is to blind your mind so that you will not see what God is saying to you. You will not be a victim of blindness of mind, in Jesus name.
However, what is in this prayer and fasting?
OPEN REWARDS
Prayer and fasting engenders the release of open rewards. Your fasting, which is your secret service is the gateway to open blessings from God. The Bible says: “But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thy head and wash thy face. That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy father which is in the secret: and thy father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly” (Matt 6:17-18). The spiritual exercise of this season shall announce your open testimony, in Jesus name.
PRAYER: I pray that your eyes of understanding be enlightened this year 2024. You will not be taken unawares by the devil, in Jesus name.
DAILY CONFESSION:
This year 2024, I am advancing in adversity because I’ve been redeemed to flourish in hard times therefore my life shall be full of wonders. Amen and amen.
DAY 12 PRAYER GUIDELINES (PRAYER FOR MTD)
- Father, thank you for making Morning Tea Devotional a mandate with your word to change the world (Matt 28:19).
- Father, by the blood of Jesus, we cast down every imagination and every high thing that exalts itself against Morning Tea Devotional this year 2024 and beyond, in the name of Jesus (2Cor 10:5).
- Father, we destroy all strongholds, walls, foundations and barriers that stand against the advancement of Morning Tea Devotional, in Jesus name (Isaiah 54:17).
- Father, by the strength of the Holy Spirit, MTD shall move faster in possessing more territories, nations and multitude of souls for the Lord in the name of Jesus (Ps 2:8).
- Ask God for other things (Phil 4:6).
