TEXT: “Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us” (2Thess 2:18)
Are you waiting on God for something to come to pass in your life? Is it taking longer than you wanted it to? Why do we sometimes experience delays or hindrances in getting what we desire? There are different things in this world and the spiritual world that causes delays in one’s life. You need to ask yourself questions like “Who or what is causing these delays in my life?”
Before I go on, let me quickly point it out that there is difference between divine delays and delays caused by other factors that we shall examine from today. There are times that God Himself will cause a delay in His plans for your life. He does that for His own purpose where you go through a process of pruning, after that comes the blessings. We have dealt with this aspect of delay few days past.
Looking at the scriptures, we discover other factors that are responsible for delays in life. These includes:
- DEMONIC ACTIVITIES.
Demonic activities are responsible for some people’s delays in life. In the book of Daniel 10:13, Daniel said: “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days…” The New Living Translation puts it this way: “But for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way.”
The answer Daniel needed was delayed/blocked by the activities of demonic forces for twenty-one days. In today’s anchor scripture, Paul the apostle was hindered by satanic manipulations. This could be your case right now. The delays in your life could be as a result of demonic activities in and around you. I decree that every delay caused by demonic forces in your life and destiny has expired today, in Jesus name.
One important aspect of Daniel’s story is the fact that the delay of his answer was only temporary! The second part of the verse says: “Then Michael, one of the top officers of the heavenly army, came to help me, so that I was able to break through these spirit rulers of Persia.” Hear me child of God, God’s promises for your life will always come to pass irrespective of satanic manipulations. The battle is over, in Jesus name.
PRAYER: The demonic delay in your life is terminated today by the Blood of Jesus, in Jesus name.
DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2023, I am finally on a Covenant Highway, Jesus is giving me Answers and I am enjoying Rest Round About – Amen and Amen!
